of the Pacific Ocean. The fairways are fairly wide open, and
water hazards come into play on three holes.

The sloping, hilly fairways on the side of the West Maui mountains
combined with the trade winds make for a truly challenging
day at Kahili. There are a lot of elevated greens, and
many of the par 4's are long, straight, and into the wind.
There are many sandalwood trees here, giving the golf course its name.
Carved out of the foothills of the scenic West Maui Mountains,
the Kahili Golf Course is a popular choice for both visiting
and local golfers, Kahili plays host to numerous Maui
and State-wide tournaments throughout the year.
